Taste of Peace

Under the banner of “WE ARE SRILANKANS” we will respect, preserve, and share our mother land in unity was the theme of the event which was hosted in Nagamani Aiyas resident on 05/06/2019.at 9.30 am in Mullitheevu. The day was inaugurated by Nagamani Aiya by welcoming his brotherhood families from Bogasweva, and programme coordinator Thibakar.Initial ice break was silent soft music played which connected the awareness of our one and only mother nature by KKM staff Darsha, Denu, Debo and Priya. Followed by a game divided into three groups and encouraged to discuss their own feelings of the environment. How important is the soil for human life? How to enrich organisms in the soil? How can we safeguard, protect the soil and make mankind free from disease? They made posters and displayed in all three languages. All of them added their own values in the posters, such as how we could respect, protect, share and treasure our one mother land of SriLanka and enjoy together.

The mixed groups of the two-community worked together, sharing their limited languagewith love and performed an excellent play with unity, love, happiness and laughter. As a token of unity of love Amarasinga planted a coconut seedling in Nagamany Aiyas home garden followed by Nagamany Aiyas thanking and Prayers and blessing by KKM President Pastor Santhanampillai. With Gods willing and blessing the programme ended successfully on time at 4,30 pm.
